Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant
As the name suggests: everything is vegetarian here.
Never had dinner there, just picked up lunch for take-away.
I went with the Cari (market-fresh vegetables, red curry, sweet potatoes in coconut curry) with rice and crispy pumpkin slices + vegetable soup for a total of 11.90€ (lunch menu from 11:30–15:00 with reduced prices).
Never had crispy pumpkin before, but it was very delicious and the meal overall was great. Don’t have much comparison though since I rarely eat Vietnamese food.
Interior & atmosphere
Relaxed ambience. They have a terrace towards the street with cute lanterns for lighting. Never sat there but I can image it’s quite loud since it’s right next to the busy road and tram line.
They have nice cutlery though!
Service
The staff was friendly and attentive. One time I went there to pick up lunch for take-away but while I was inside waiting, it started hailing like crazy. They offered me to stay in and eat there, and brought me a whole set of cutlery so I wouldn’t have to eat from the plastic containers that they put the take-away food in.
Reservation needed?
During lunch time there were always several tables free when I was there. But in the evenings it can get quite crowded. I stopped by there once on a Friday night asking for a table for 2, but would’ve had to wait for 30 minutes. So I recommend making a reservation for dinner time.
