Munich’s prettiest church (in my opinion)
The Theatinerkirche (Theatine Church), officially “St. Kajetan und Adelheid”, is a domed baroque Catholic church with a striking yellow facade and ornate white stucco interior.
It might not look too fancy from the outside, but the insides is gorgeous yet subtle: Statues, sculptures, embodiments, paintings and ornaments – all in white.
Like many beautiful buildings in Munich, it was bombed in World War 2, but has since been restored.
Entry is free.
Haven’t been to a mass there yet.
